Some councils publish common in-service days. Other schools choose their own dates, so a council holiday calendar may not show every pupil non-attendance day.
Term starts and pupil starts can differ.
A term may open with a staff training day. Use the explicitly published pupil return date or your school’s calendar to plan childcare.
